: Dar Macha was execellent choice. Owners-French couple- Marie and Pierre- are lovely and so is their house. We were travelling together with our friedns- this is a guesthouse with only two rooms so we felt like we rented private house with private swimming pool:) Rooms are nice and comfortable- we didn't notice air conditioning in one of the rooms- but in September it was not needed (Essouira and Ghazoua are windy, especially at night). There were also lovely animals in the garden- 2 cats, chickens and even a turtle:) The garden is amazing and lovely.If we ever come back to these region we will surely come back to Dar Macha because it is really worth staying. Wine, beer and coctails are also available- it is nice and not easy to find in Marocco.

: The property is very nice and is decorated beautifully. The owners are also very nice.
: It's out-of-the-way and a little hard to find. The roads getting there are horrendous. When I got there they wouldn't let me use the A/C because they said it cost too much. Breakfast by the pool was nice. Owners were a little nosy but not overwhelmingly so.

: The Continental Breakfast was substantial and delicious there was a great variety and was different each day ...sensational start to the day! The swimming pool was wonderful, exceptionally well maintained, spotless and totally gorgeous ... surrounding garden area, chickens, cats, tortoise' an added bonus!The general vibe of Dar Macha felt... French Chateau in Morocco ..unexpected and.fabulous!!
: The location without a personal vehicle was difficult ... expect to pay 50 , however, charged between 80 and 100 per trip into town, one taxi stopping and refusing to finish the journey without more than the agreed-to fare !! .... there is very little in the area or within walking distance... so take supplies or pre organize ahead of time for meals with the accommodating hosts.We did not have French-speaking skills, however, as far as our stay went it was not a major problem
