  : I appreciate that they prepared breakfast even if I had to leave super early at 7am.
  : Cleaning fee - if you are like me who assumes that most hotels already inputted the cleaning fee as is the business model for almost 100% of hotels worldwide (as opposed to Airbnb) and who only look at the base rate and tax as additional charges, you'll be in for a shocked. This hotel charges four euros extra for the cleaning fee so factor that before booking. I would have picked another properly on a nicer part of the town and not drawn to its cheaper base rate. I booked a double room with a private bathroom but I was given a room with the bathroom/toilet is on separate space (for exclusive use) and had to go out every time I need it.

  : Owner is super friendly and the whole riad is spotlessly clean, the lady who's cleanin every morning is doing an amaizing job. Location is also really good, but the best part is the private hammam you get with your room (large bathroom with a huge bath)
  : There are four rooms in this riad and one of them (ours) has no windows looking out so the room has a strong mouldy smell. Others are much better

  : Good location in the medina, easily accessible from parking and taxi drop off just outside the walls. Very hospitable and friendly owner who gave me a good introduction on where to go and what to see in and around Essaouira. Kind, english speaking lady working in the riad. Good breakfast - bread with marmalade etc, yoghurt, moroccan pancake, juice, tea/coffee etc. Clean room, good wifi. Price worthy, would be happy to come back.
  : Slightly chilly in the room at night (beginning of march), but once in bed it was no problem thanks to the warm blankets. A bit dark in the room, but my impression is that that is quite common in the houses of the medina due to the type of built structure.
